Antonio C, 99 years of age, Italian, divorcing his wife of 77 years over infidelity

Antonio C met his wife back in the 1930’s when he was a young Carabineer Officer assigned to Naples and Mussolini. Antonio would later ask Rosa to be his bride. Rosa accepted and they have been married for 77 years.

While cleaning out a chest of drawers just before Christmas, Antonio stumbled upon what would be old love letters, dating back to 1940′s from Rosa’s forbidden lover.

Angry and upset, Antonio confronted Rosa about the details of the love letters between her and her alleged lover. Rosa confessed and begged for Antonio’s forgiveness.

Heartbroken and feeling betrayed Antonio has filed for divorce after five children, a dozen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

If Antonio decides to go through with the divorce, they will be the oldest couple in history to divorce at ages, 99 and 96, respectively.

Should the courts deny the petition for divorce on the grounds that Rosa C. has proven to be a good wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother for 70 years?

Antonio, Antonio, can you truly walk away from the only life you’ve known for 70+ years? While I don’t condone infidelity, surely Rosita has proven herself to be worthy of your love.

Antonio! Give Rosita another chance and don’t break up your marriage over something that happened a lifetime ago.

Verizon Wireless instituting a $2 “convenience charge” for paying with plastic

Effective 01/15/2012, Verizon Wireless will institute a $2 “convenience charge” for paying either online or by telephone.

There will be three ways for the customer to avoid the “convenience charge.”

1. Make a one-time payment using an electronic check.
2. Use your home banking account.
3. Use a Verizon gift card or rebate card.

Otherwise, a $2 “convenience charge” will be included in a statement with your name on it. However, all is not lost! You can enroll in a program that debits your bank account or credit card on a recurring basis for free. Still not happy; okay, you can pay your bill the ole fashion way, by mail or you can take a nice ride to your nearest Verizon store to meet and greet its staff and pay in person.

Verizon currently has about 91 million customers. The genius that thought of the $2 “convenience charge” will certainly be on track to get a healthy bonus at the end of the year; for all the money the new charge will generate from their loyal customers. Can you say “whistling Dixie all the way to the bank?”

40 Car Pile-Up on I-10 at Michoud, New Orleans Claims the Lives of two and injures 50

New Orleans 40 car pile-up claims the lives of two, sent 22 to the hospital and injured at least 37 others. The visibility or extreme poor visibility proved to be too much for vehicles entering I-10 at Michoud in New Orleans. The accident happened around 4:00am on the Michoud, New Orleans East ramp.

Wesley Ratcliff, the first tow truck driver that showed up to try to untangle the massive sea of cars and trucks stated that he couldn’t see 10 feet ahead and that the drivers had no way of preventing the chain-reaction collision that resulted, due to extreme poor visibility and he went on to say that this accident scene was the worst he had encountered in his 13 year career as a tow truck and his sympathy went out to the deceased families and the injured.

Fort Meyers, Edison Mall Parking Lot Turned into a War Zone:

In what appears to be a deliberate target, a car pulled up in a busy shopping mall and after the shooting stopped, one man was dead and the other unharmed.

As the unknown number of assailants pulled up in a vehicle with high-powered rifles and began to open fire, Edison Mall parking lot became a war zone as more than 100 rounds of ammunition were directed at two men, as they strolled through the parking lot of the mall heading toward the entrance. Unfortunately, one of the men would not make it to the door and the other would be left shaken but unharmed.

Lt. Jay Rodriguez of the Fort Meyers Police Department said shell casings were found up and down two rows of the parking lot, leading authorities to believe that the attackers were targeting a man “as he was running towards the mall. Three vehicles were completely shot up and the wall of the mall was also shot up pretty good.” Lt. Rodriguez went on to reiterate how crowded the mall was with plenty of holiday shoppers and how much worse it could have been.

Fort Meyers Police are looking for the unidentified attackers who fled in a “Gray-Four Door Vehicle.” The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.

The name of the deceased man is Thomas Goodman and other man was not harmed.

New Nike Air Jordan XI limited edition shoes causes crowd to break through store door!

The Michael Jordan dynasty continues. Even though the price tag is somewhat pricey at $180, Nike has a loyal fan base. Maybe a bit too loyal as they trampled over the fallen to make
their way into an Indianapolis store that took to long to open.

The policeman had to be called to restore peace and order and subsequently made several arrest, including a customer that left
her two little children locked in the car. Policeman ask her why she left her two children the the car and her response was “I was looking for my cousin.” Policeman ask another customer if all the chaos was worth it, she quickly responded, “Yes, I got my grandson’s their Christmas present!”

It’s amazing to see so many people show up for such a limited amount of Air Jordan XI sneakers. The store had only 300 pairs of shoes in stock, yet about 500 or more showed up for their chance to have bragging rights as one of the first to get in on a limited edition of Nike Air Jordan XI sneakers. At $180 dollars a pair, maybe they should call them the King’s Landing Gear or something more up-scale than sneakers. Just a thought! Nike.

You can hit me up a pair, size 10 for my son for Christmas if you like!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year !!!

GOP House Leaders Yield to the Will of the People

House Republican leaders did something that at one time would have been impossible. They actually stepped back from the grand-standing of politics, put the prepared script aside and realize where they were and how they got there: because of the vote and voice of their constituents. Too that we commend them! And could see for the first time, the small steps they’ve taken in maturing into their roles as leaders and not just talking pundits.

Sometimes, life lessons are slow and easy, other times, it’s quick and painful. Nevertheless, one seldom forgets how they derived at their first major breakthrough. Finally, the culture of the room is shifting and you could sense for the first time that maybe both sides, the Democrats and Republicans can meet and agree on some of the countries most crucial issues.

After taking such a hard stance and saying that “they would not buckle,” House Republican leaders buckled and reversed their stance on Thursday and agreed too a two-month extension of a payroll-tax-break [sparing a tax increase, that would have affected over 160 million American workers] after internal discord and pressure from President Obama to approve this temporary bill, thus allowing both parties more time to find a more permanent solution.

While most of the news media sees this as a major victory for President Obama, it’s really a major victory for the people. It would behoove both parties moving forward to hear and listen to the cry of their constituents.

The United States is in the midst of a paradigm shift and its effect is going to be life altering. The leaders that are currently in the House and Senate are charged to keep this country in an up-ward position while this shift is taking place. Their role in history is greater than they realize. They can go down in history as some of the greatest leaders in modern times, or greatest failures of the century.

The foreword in the history book has been written and the body is beginning to take shape but the ending is yet to be determined. The current leaders will have a part to play in how the end of this history lesson will be written.

Too be continued . . .

The IMF is Desperately Seeking a Replacement for the American Dollar: SDR’s Maybe Their Temporary Solution

The International Monetary Foundation (IMF) is growing increasing anxious over the continuous financial crisis that the US can’t seem to find a resolution too. In the beginning the IMF believed that the US had enough brilliant minds to find a workable plan to turn their debt crisis around, unfortunately, it’s becoming painfully clear that the US economy is in serious trouble.

America’s constant political bickering on National Television will ultimately be their downfall. Sam Houston the Emancipator once wrote:

“A nation divided against it self cannot stand!”

Does it feel like the US is tilted on an axel these days? Every time we take one positive step forward, we take two negative steps backwards, effectively wiping out any positive outcomes we made in the past.

Can ordinary everyday people understand or appreciates how close the US is to financial ruin? This is the first time in recent years that the House & Senate have been so ineffective for so long, making the US vulnerable in more ways than one. If you could only grasp what is being said, you would be up in arms with all your political figures. Do you consider yourself “collateral damage?”

Well, thanks to your politicians, that’s exactly what you are! If the dollar should collapse tomorrow, it is certain that they have a plan b? It’s also certain to suggest that you would be on your own, effectively, making you “collateral damage to whatever is yet to come. Do you like that position? If you answered No! Then do something about it. Call your prospective representatives’ and voice your opinion.

The IMF disclosed recently that Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) could help stabilize the global financial system – at the expense of the American dollar that is. Could this be the American dollar’s fall from grace? IMF appears adamant about replacing the American dollar and justifies its insistent of SDRs as a viable replacement that could help stabilize the global financial system and calm the other countries down.

According to CNN money, “SDRs represent potential claims on the currencies of IMF members. They were created by the IMF in 1969 and can be converted into whatever currency a borrower requires at exchange rates based on a weighted basket of international currencies. While they are not a tangible currency, some economists argue that SDRs could be used as a less volatile alternative to the U.S. dollar.”

Constitutional Reference for Today:

“It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters.” — Daniel Webster

Vegas, Hepner, Villa & Brutus: Only in South Florida: Take One

Guadalupe Vegas in Bond Hearings Court

Guadalupe Vegas steals neighbors Christmas decorations from yard and set them up in her yard

Guadalupe Vegas,18, from Sweetwater and her compliances (one male and one female) stole her neighbor’s Christmas ornaments out of their yard and Vegas had the nerve to display the neighbors stolen ornaments in her yard. And get this! Guadalupe lives around the corner and was caught in the act by the neighbor’s security camera. You have to see it . . . to believe it!

Cheryl Hepner, 66, shoots Salvatore Miglino, 39, twice, then call 911 and tells the operator that Miglino was shooting at her

Cheryl Hepner,66 shot her son-in-law, Salvatore Miglino,39, twice, then calls 911 and said that her son-in-law was shooting at her. Cheryl Hepner, 66, from Tamarac obviously had it all planned in advance. Wait for Miglino to show up to pick up his son, invite him in her home, then shoot him and call 911 and tell them that he was shooting at her.

However, Miglino was one step ahead of her and had the phone camera on record from the beginning because of the nasty divorce case he was going through with Hepner’s daughter and the uneasy feeling he had.

Miami-Dade Officer Fernando Edmundo Villa found shirtless and passed out in his police cruiser

Miami-Dade Officer Fernando Edmundo Villa,32 found shirtless and passed out in his running police cruiser in the left turn lane on SW 137th Avenue at 131 Street, taken to the station and allowed to go home. Can anyone say, “Special Treatment?”

Maybe Miami Police Officer J. Brutus was thinking about the Movie, “The Fast & Furious” when he ran his patrol car up a utility pole.

The Fast & The Furious Movie has nothing on Miami Police Officer J. Brutus

It would be interesting to see Vin Diesel or Paul Walker drive their car up a “live” utility pole and walk away laughing. It’s safe to say that Hollywood maybe calling Officer Brutus for some more or similar stunts for their next movie.

You see, Miami Police officer J. Brutus was cruising through the intersection of NW 67th Street & 6th Ave in Miami on Tuesday, when he suddenly found himself up a utility pole.

And whose talking about driving while texting? What about driving while allegedly picking up a pen off the floor of your car? Well, that’s his story and he is sticking to it!

Officer Brutus response to how his car ran up the pole must have sounded as Judge Judy would say, “ridiculous” even to him, because when the camera turned on him, he was laughing and joking with one of his colleagues. It took a minute to realize that he was the officer in the car. Miami Police Department must have guaranteed contracts with their officers.

In any other scenario, it would be expected for the driver of the car to show some kind of remorse. The tax payers will probably not be too happy when they realize that they are the ones footing the bill for one of The City of Miami’s finest, nickname the “Fast & Furious Brutus” chasing a pen or maybe he was chasing pop-eye the sailor man.
