Woman tries to hire hitman on Facebook!

Actual Ad Placed on Facebook

Imagine opening up your page on Facebook to a post that reads:

I will pay somebody a stack to kill my baby’s father!

Your first impression would be, “Is this some kind of sick joke?” Believe it or not! This was actually posted on Facebook, May 23rd as though it was a regular ad on the social site.

A request for “somebody to kill my baby’s father” must have sent shock waves to the regular viewers of Facebook, since normally you will find the exchange of pictures featuring family gatherings, talk about day-to-day events, planning future social gatherings, sharing wedding and graduation pictures and all things fun & fuzzy.

The author of this post is Eley London, 20, of Philadelphia after she got into a heated argument with Corey Jerome White, her baby’s father on May 23, 2011. Authorities were alerted after Corey White’s mother saw the message and contacted her son. On June 10th, police arrested and charged Ms. London with conspiracy to commit murder, after she allegedly tried to hire someone to kill her baby’s father for $1000. She is currently being held on $250,000 bail.

Even more unbelievable is the fact that she received a response from Tim Bynum, 18, from London. In the message Bynum stated that he was up for the task as long as he was paid up front. Tim Bynum was arrested on June 12th and charged with attempted murder and weapons charge. He is currently being held on 350,000 bail.

Lieutenant John Walker expressed shock over the level of stupidity of some people.
