The IMF is Desperately Seeking a Replacement for the American Dollar: SDR’s Maybe Their Temporary Solution

The International Monetary Foundation (IMF) is growing increasing anxious over the continuous financial crisis that the US can’t seem to find a resolution too. In the beginning the IMF believed that the US had enough brilliant minds to find a workable plan to turn their debt crisis around, unfortunately, it’s becoming painfully clear that the US economy is in serious trouble.

America’s constant political bickering on National Television will ultimately be their downfall. Sam Houston the Emancipator once wrote:

“A nation divided against it self cannot stand!”

Does it feel like the US is tilted on an axel these days? Every time we take one positive step forward, we take two negative steps backwards, effectively wiping out any positive outcomes we made in the past.

Can ordinary everyday people understand or appreciates how close the US is to financial ruin? This is the first time in recent years that the House & Senate have been so ineffective for so long, making the US vulnerable in more ways than one. If you could only grasp what is being said, you would be up in arms with all your political figures. Do you consider yourself “collateral damage?”

Well, thanks to your politicians, that’s exactly what you are! If the dollar should collapse tomorrow, it is certain that they have a plan b? It’s also certain to suggest that you would be on your own, effectively, making you “collateral damage to whatever is yet to come. Do you like that position? If you answered No! Then do something about it. Call your prospective representatives’ and voice your opinion.

The IMF disclosed recently that Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) could help stabilize the global financial system – at the expense of the American dollar that is. Could this be the American dollar’s fall from grace? IMF appears adamant about replacing the American dollar and justifies its insistent of SDRs as a viable replacement that could help stabilize the global financial system and calm the other countries down.

According to CNN money, “SDRs represent potential claims on the currencies of IMF members. They were created by the IMF in 1969 and can be converted into whatever currency a borrower requires at exchange rates based on a weighted basket of international currencies. While they are not a tangible currency, some economists argue that SDRs could be used as a less volatile alternative to the U.S. dollar.”

Constitutional Reference for Today:

“It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters.” — Daniel Webster

Politics + No Vested Interest Creates “Continual Gridlock” on Capital Hill

Would it be fair to say that if the politicians were deciding on issues that affected them, bills would be flowing out of Congress like a well-oiled conveyor belt? But because the issues that the House and the Senate discuss on a daily basis will not affect them in the least and they have no vested interest in the “bill of the moment” outcome, then it becomes a game of monopoly, me versus you and I will trade all my railroads for your boardwalk property and at the end of the day, they can all walk away without guilt.

Why? Because the actors and actresses on Capitol Hill appear to be acting out a script in a play rather than seriously entertaining any dialogue that would be beneficial to the public-at-large. Somebody needs to shake them out of their movie star roles, and get them to understand that their continual stance of ‘”I got one over them!” roles will haunt them come election time. Do they not understand that the United States is going through the worst recession/depression in its history, with no real light at the end of tunnel for years to come?

Who do they think will be held accountable? Can’t you hear them say collectively, like a well rehearsed choir, “NOT ME?” That’s where they’re wrong! The politicians need to run don’t walk and look at the face staring back at them in the mirror. Have they taken a good look, yet? Good! That’s the person that the public will hold accountable for this mess that we can’t seem to even begin to dig ourselves out of! Why, because, “Politics + No Vested Interest Creates “Continual Gridlock” on Capitol Hill.”

This is our government at work! Don’t worry, they will surely blow the budget and cry to the public to give them more time, during election time, to spend more money for even less work, if you can call it that! At this moment, it looks like they are having an extended ‘frat party” until the public wakes up and smell the coffee.

Let’s just tell it like it is! The politicians’ have no vested interest in the decisions or lack of decisions that they continually seem unable, incapable or unwilling to make. It makes the general public, sick to their stomach, to consistently see the politicians make the shameful walk to the podium and began to talk about what they want individually , but not what could be possible if they all took a step back on a daily basis and ask themselves, “Who put me in this position?” and “Why did they select me over the other candidate?” and “ What do I owe  my constituents’ for putting their trust in me and voting for me to hold this prestigious office?”

Each politician should ask, “What is my duty as a civil servant to my constituents’ and what is my duty to myself to be worthy of such an honor?”  All the “Grand Standing” needs to cease and desist.

All those clowns on Capitol Hill need to audition for Ringling Brothers Circus and leave the work on Capitol Hill for “Thinkers, Decision-Makers, and Movers & Shakers!” Oh! Don’t forget to chisel the oversized gavel from oversized Bone-Head Boehner’s Hands!”

President Barack Obama’s Job-Creation Package failed short of the 60 votes needed.

Mervin Sealy from Hickory, North Carolina, takes part in a protest rally outside the Capitol Building in Washington

The $447 billion package of tax cuts and new spending failed by a vote of 50 to 48, short of the 60 votes it needed to advance in the 100-member Senate. Voting was expected to continue for several hours but would not affect the outcome.

Obama vows to break jobs plan into seperate bills after Senate setback

The Senate defeated President Barack Obama’s job-creation package on Tuesday in a sign that Washington is likely too fractured to take major steps to encourage hiring before the 2012 elections.

However, will the unemployed / under-employed, 99’ers and the remainder of the 17 million displaced for one reason or another continue too wait or can afford too wait until after the next election, or will a genuine movement with a people’s platform rise up within The Occupy Wall Street movement and force the hand of the government to perform the job they were elected to do or go home?

Someone on Capitol Hill needs to have enough backbone and intestinal fortitude to push through all the manure that the House and Senate keep trying to ram down the people’s throat.

Something that one of the participants from the movement said (she appeared to be middle age, possibly from the suburbs) was very telling of how most of the unemployed and under-employed feel. She stated that for the first time she was worried about the direction this country has taken and wondering how long can we survive in our present state. How Long? Not Long?

Remember the phrase:”A house divided against it self cannot stand.” If that is true, then what do you think about a country?

Even President Obama acknowledged that “Ultimately, the American people won’t take “no” for an answer. It’s time for Congress to meet their responsibility, put their party politics aside and take action on jobs right now.”

This country is at a crossroads. Which road will the House and Senate take?

Is it possible for a group of people to despise a man so much that they are willing to destroy the entire country in the process, even if it means going down in the process?

Let’s call it what it is! Hate!

Will a entire country of people stand idle on the sidelines and allow a small group of politicians to manipulate and use them as collateral damage while they watch the country slide into the sinking sand just to avenge what they perceive to be “A get him out at any cause mentality.” Were you consulted before they decided to play with your life or did the politicians think that they have the “power of attorney” to make life or death decisions on your behalf?

“So, what are you going to do? Stand Up {Mervin Sealy from Hickory, North Carolina, takes part in a protest rally outside the Capitol Building in Washington”}and be Heard or Become Collateral Damage? It’s Your Choice or is it?”

To: All the registered voters who actually vote. There is a lesson to be learned by the mess that United States finds itself in. The voters voiced their choice of representation by way of vote. When you vote for a particular candidate, you virtually give him or her the right to speak for you. When the votes are cast! It’s to late, then, too try to learn about the candidate you selected.

If you voted for a candidate based on popularity, because someone told you to vote for them or because of your dislike for the other candidate, without researching and seeking out as much information on that candidate as possible but got caught up in the hype. Shame on you!

At least now, hopefully, you can learn from past mistakes and make an informed choice based on your own research, so that, at the end of the day, you can truly say that “you have full confidence in the person you selected” and without trepidation can look at the man in the mirror and recognize the person staring back at you.

“Your Voice is really your Vote!” Don’t take it for granted! LooK at it this way! Will you work 40 hours a week and give your paycheck to a stranger just because they ask you for it? If that’s the case? Can I have it? See … what I mean!

Is the Tea Party working “For” or “Against” the American People?

I’m not the slightest bit worried about a government shutdown,” Tea Party supporter Robin Maas said at a March 31 rally in Washington. “I think we find out that there are many things government does that we really don’t need to keep this country going. And a government shutdown would actually save us some money.

We can’t impose our will on the Senate,” Boehner said. “All we can do is fight for all the spending cuts that we can get an agreement to and spending limitations as well.” To some of the Tea Party faithful, that sounded like giving up. Kathy Dirr, an activist from Boehner’s Ohio district, had a message for the House Republican leadership: “Take off your lace panties” and push for deeper cuts, she said.

Fact Box

Democrats 21%
Independents 35%
Republicans 53%
Tea Party supporters 62%

Boehner’s Republican colleagues in Congress recognize his conundrum. Conservative Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama acknowledged that the Tea Party movement may not “understand all the realities of Washington politics,” but on the substance of the issues — the need to reduce the size of government and bring down spending — “they are right fundamentally,” he told the ABC program “This Week” on Sunday.

House Speaker John Boehner appears to be caught between a rock and a hard place. Boehner’s hands appear to be tied by the “Tea Party Nation Founder, Judson Phillips, who has solicited via internet possible candidates to run against Boehner, if he doesn’t adhere to their demands. One of which is “They want to Shut Down the Government.”

I have been following Boehner for awhile now to evaluate his progress and to see if he really loves his country as much as he appears too by way of his emotions and other body language. If John Boehner loves his country, then we will see by his actions not lack of action.

As Mr. Boehner so eloquently stated, he aspired his entire life to be in the position that he finds himself in today. It would be a pity or even robbery for him to finally achieve what he has worked for all his life to be taken away by someone with half his experience, no real leadership skills and only taking directions from someone else with a hidden agenda.

House Speaker John Boehner, stand your ground and proceed based on what you know will be good for all Americans and not allow anyone to set you up to take the fall for a few ill intentioned members with hidden agenda’s, who really don’t have your best interest at heart. You know as well as I know, that in the end, if the Federal Government is shutdown, their names will not suffer at all but your name will be dragged through the mud, from which you may never recover. Who then would profit from such a feat?

The American public understands that there a two factions on Capital Hill, however, they expect both parties to always have the greater good in mind when making decisions with lasting consequences. The voters didn’t send their representatives to Capital Hill to succumb to blackmail but to stand up to their foes and do the right thing!

I’m saying, Man-Up! House and Man-Up! Senate and do what you promise your constituents that you would do for them and that is protect, serve and help lead this great nation, not run and hide and continue with the blame game.

Remember! 2012 is right around the corner and we will remember who actually worked for us and who worked against us, including the tea party members.
